Six Tips for Online Adult Dating

Friday, May 15th, 2009

Singles Online dating can definitely introduce you to some really wonderful nice people – and you can get involved in some deep relationships. You might even meet your future wife or husband. You never know. Yet, there are still some risks involved with online dating! Which is why I’m writing this article, that outlines some of the things you need to watch out for. Don’t get me wrong, singles free dating online can be really fun, you need to know the risks involved and how to avoid them.

1. Number one tip for being safe while online dating, starts with your online profile. You don’t want to reveal all your private data in your profile for the public to find. You should simply comunicate with the other members through the messaging system of the dating website. Once you feel more comfortable, you can choose to disclose your personal info and maybe even go out on a date. And if you do find out that the individual you are talking to is a weirdo – and it is bound to happen – your private data is confidential since you are using the messaging system of the singles dating online site.

2. If and when you do decide to go out on a date, I would definitely not let them come to your house for dinner or any other reason. Not a good idea! and No, you should not even make them pick you up at your house. You should decide on a public place to meet.

3. Another thought is to make the date a double date, maybe with a friend that also is into dating online. This is good for 2 reasons – there’s someone you know with you, and you can also have a way to leave without your date if they’re boring!

4. The first date should never be in seclusion or in a private area. This could get you in a dangerous situation. You don’t truly know these people you meet online. A eating place or some common space like a park is a much better idea. It’s constantly easier to be safe than sorry!

5. You probably shouldn’t booze on the first date. If you ever had to – just have a few. And don’t have your date get your drink. Get it from the barman or waiter. And do not allow for your drink alone (like if you goto the rest room).

6. You should make sure someone (roommate or friend) knows where you’re going or at least when you should be expected back. This way, if something does happen, if an accident were to happen, or something worse, at least someone will know where you were or when you were supposed to be back.

By holding to these easy rules, you know some points to keep yourself safe with singles online dating sites. Since you know that you will be safe – you can now have some fun when you go out on your date with your new online partner!

Las Vegas Offers Many Distinct Wedding Opportunities

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

There are many options to take into consideration when planning a Las Vegas wedding. The Wedding Capital of the World has something to offer everybody. Whether it’s a quickie chapel wedding that you seek, or something more out of the ordinary such as a helicopter wedding above the famous Strip, Las Vegas can dish it up.

Mention a Las Vegas wedding and most people instantly think of the cute little wedding chapels that line the Las Vegas Strip and downtown area. Drive-thru weddings and weddings with Elvis present are other images that may come to mind. These are just a few of the choices available. There are many other wedding options in Las Vegas that a lot of people don’t know about. Did you know that you can get married on the pirate ship in front of Treasure Island? Or while riding in a gondola at the Venetian? Other unique wedding offerings in Las Vegas include a wedding at the top of the Eiffel tower in front of the Paris Hotel. Many hotels also offer in-suite weddings. The wedding ceremony takes place right in your hotel suite. The Paris Hotel even offers a wedding package that takes place on the 26th floor penthouse of its sister property, Bally’s Las Vegas.

Destination weddings are also big business in Las Vegas with many wedding chapels offering packages for them. Popular wedding destinations include scenic Red Rock Canyon, Mount Charleston, and the Valley of Fire State Park. More unusual destinations consist of weddings at the famous Las Vegas sign, on a roller coaster atop the Stratosphere Tower, and at the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.

Themed weddings are also a popular option. The Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel offers many themed wedding packages including Gothic, Egyptian, Rocky Horror, Victorian and beach themes. If it’s a 50s style wedding you desire, check out their wedding chapel that resembles a 50s diner. At the Excalibur Hotel they offer Medieval themed weddings with costume rentals available. If it’s an Old West wedding that interests you, you may want to consider Bonnie Spring Old Nevada. This 1880s style town is located west of the Strip in the Red Rock Canyon area. They have a wedding chapel for ceremonies and also offer reception packages. If you are a big Star Trek fan, you might be interested to know that The Star Trek Experience inside the Las Vegas Hilton offers weddings on the bridge of the USS Enterprise. You can even have a Klingon present at your wedding.

So whether it is something traditional, exotic, or unique that you seek for your wedding, Las Vegas can deliver it. When planning your Vegas wedding, carefully research all your options. You may be surprised by what you find. One thing is for certain, in Las Vegas you can definitely plan a wedding that you and all of your guests will be talking about for years to come.
