Monopoly has been around for a long time and is still very popular today. When playing Monopoly we often find ourselves asking the age old question: What is the best way to win? The answer to that is plain and simple. It all boils down to strategy, the roll of the dice, and total number of players (the more players the quicker the property is bought up).

One rule of thumb to keep in mind while playing Monopoly is buying color groups that are needed to create Monopoly or to keep your opponent from completing a certain color group. Lets face it, wouldn’t it be more feasible to buy Park Place even if your opponent had Boardwalk so you can avoid the high fees of hotels once they are placed on the properties. Plus this helps you hold a key bargaining chip when the time is right. Just because you purchased Park Place for $350 doesn’t mean it can’t be sold to the opponent for a higher sum. The same goes with other color groups too.

Houses and hotels are a big must in the game of Monopoly. Work hard to gain a complete color group set so you can build as quickly as possible. This helps you gain more money as you play the game. The key color groups that are the most landed on are the orange and red color groups. So it is important to strive and get those first or keep your opponent from getting them. If you manage to get either one or both of those properties, expand and start building those houses on them. You have a higher chance of collecting more rent with those properties due to the location of the color group which makes it more probable that someone will land on them.

Who said being in jail was a bad thing. In Monopoly you risk that chance from time to time with the chance or community chest cards. The best thing to do when you land in jail is to just stay there. That is if all the properties are about owned. If they are, you can avoid paying rent and still collect your own rent as your opponents circle the board. If the properties are still plentiful then perhaps you need to consider paying to get out of jail so that your deed ownership can expand.

I think that if you’re going to play a hand at the casino, you should come out betting. But, as with everything else in poker games, there are always exceptions to the rule. You might think that some hands are worth playing, but they aren’t worth betting into the hand. An Ace-2 of Spades can turn into a monster with a flop of Spades, but it may not be worth entering the hand with five or six times the big blind if you can see the flop for less. On the other hand, some pocket hands have high enough expectations that they are always worth a raise. High suited cards fit into that category.

If you’re dealt an Ace that’s suited with a face card, or even King-Queen suited, your hand is worth raising because it’s got a high expectation of improving on the flop and the ensuing turn and river. With an Ace that’s suited with a face card, the worst way you can hit the flop will get you a high pair with a solid kicker, and the best-case scenario (miracle flops like quad Aces or a full boat aside) will give you a huge straight or a nut flush. Either way, betting into the flop will chase out the smaller fish and fatten up the pot for you. Just try it in an online poker tournament and see your account grow.

Particularly at lower to medium level stakes of no limit poker, there are a wide range of players that come to sit down. Often in these games it can be difficult in early stages to tell if a poker player is aggressive betting a set or a top pair. When the stacks of these players get lower, where if they end up pushing it is often not so much over the pot that it scares you, it can often end up being a gamble whether they have you crushed or vice versa.

For instance, when playing a hand like QJ suited, and you flop the jack, you bet, the other poker online player calls, the turn comes a blank, you bet again, and the other player pushes. In this spot, especially with the lower stakes and medium stack scenario, the other player is just as likely to make this move with J 10 as they are J Ace, or better. So you either have them dominated, or they have you. And yet, your decision whether to fold or play, even if it’s not huge cost for you to call, can end up adding up over time fairly well.

In these spots then, it becomes about numbers, but a lot of the time you have to pull the trigger and hope to hold up. Without sufficient history with a player, the odds that they have a stronger hand than yours should be compared to how they played preflop, but more so in what price you are getting for how much you can win. The bites hurt, but more often the weaker hands tend to appear than the nuts.

However you would argue that now in this concrete jungle we cannot forego the doors just for a beautiful view.

Sliding glass doors are glass panels which are replace by one side of the wall in order to give it a different look. This is one of the most breakthrough developments in the field of interior designing. What it is basically is that instead of having a boring wall on one side of the room you have a sliding glass doors to give it an interesting look. These glass doors are made with tempered glass panels which will be an alternative for the wall. These glass doors are preferred in houses where the view is one to look forward to. Since the amazing view cannot be ignored with boring walls you can have it all the view and the security with these glass doors. However you would argue that now in this concrete jungle we cannot forego the doors just for a beautiful view.
Well you are right sliding doors were initially invented keeping the view factor however with time this door went under so many metamorphisms that it is more of a style statement than good view. Initially these glass doors were used to replace walls but now they are used to add style to the room. So view or no view you can always opt for the sliding glass doors. Now the next thing to choose is the type of frame for the glass door. All these doors not just allow the less space being placed and lots of styles to match the mood. These doors are moved horizontally and vertically and in a few cases even up & down. Generally the sliding doors are all made of the glass, though the wooden panes will also get used. The glass doors are better as they improve look of place over all along with the privacy. The sliding doors are the favourite entry & exit point for the burglars. They are poorly secured & allow removal of about anything from the home in case forced open. Most of the sliding glass doors have the central latch and these differ greatly in the quality and thus security. The sliding door locks may at times have key facility on a side or else both sides but this might not help strength of lock since they generally rely on the keeper (part of lock, which attaches to door frame), which is often weak. Few newer sliding doors have the internal bolts, which deadlock door at top or else bottom and both.
Well there are a lot of options from the wooden frames to the aluminum one. If you want to go the economical one then opt for the aluminum one over the wooden one. Also while buying the door check out for some good locks in order to have style and safety together. Also if there is a sliding interior doors then you can go about it using the same technique.

Early in online poker tournaments, more often it is proper to play tight, aggressive. You want to make the most of your big hands while milking the good spots, and letting others go wild and blow up for their chips, while you are there to catch the spill. As the field begins to narrow, and particularly as blinds raise and at the final table where you are down to 4 or 5 seated or less, the value of individual hands go up, as there is more at stake to win by raising, and less poker players to knock through to get the goods.

Later in tournaments, and at short handed cash games, etc., it is proper to accommodate your play on the fly to opening to wider and wider ranges of hands. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you want to be opening with any two (though in position, sometimes this pays off too), but whereas in a full ring game with low blinds you’d fold King ten from early position, with four guys left at the table suddenly that looks much more like a raising hand.

Once you’re down to heads up many players say literally any pot is worth raising, as you are only up against a single other hand. Others would say you should maintain your tight, aggressive style, but the hands you can be aggressive with are definitely less picky, and more about momentum and pressure than at any other time. Keep this in mind when you’re playing poker online.

With the easy access and safe learning environment, online poker is a haven for beginners who are learning the game as well as novices who play casually and worry as much about winning as they do about having fun. A large percentage of online poker players are newbies, and where the fish are, the sharks will invariably gather. If you’re closer to the shark than you are to the guppy, there are a few things that you need to know before you try to start a feeding frenzy.

Play tighter-The amount of novice players leads to a plethora of loose poker players, so it pays to tighten up your game a bit and take advantage when you get your cards.

Players Overvalue Top Pair-many newbie players will overvalue top pair, so when you have a big hand and you put an opponent on top pair, it can be a lot easier to trap him.

Opponents Slow Play Often-Opponents are a lot more likely to slow play a hand, so when an opponent checks to me after a scare card comes out, I’ll check as well (unless I’ve got cards that I like, in which case I make them pay dearly to see the next card).

Bluffing is probably the single most gratifying thing in poker. It’s proof that you don’t need cards to win; you’ve taken the reins and steered yourself toward victory. But kind of like a dog with a taste for human blood, it’s hard to trust a man who’s got the taste of bluff on his tongue. In NL Holdem poker tournaments, a game where patience is key and timing is everything, a successful bluffer must pick his spots. Here are some guidelines to keep you from bluffing yourself out of contention:

    Never bluff an idiot

    Know your image

    Limit your opponents

    Make sense

    Have a backup plan

We all know that the mark of a bad poker player is that they call too much. A player who pays you off too often is not the person you want to bluff, but someone that you want to extract value from when you have the best hand. You want to bluff players that can fold.

You have to consider how you appear to the other players at the table in order to pull off a bluff. Have you been showing down monster overpairs or catching up with tricky hands? What kind of hand would it take to have the winning hand on this board, and would your opponents believe you hold it?

The fewer opponents you have to wade through, the more often your bluff is going to work. Preflop in early position is not a good place to bluff. You want to be able to control the hand, so keep your bluffs to heads up or short handed play and try to be in position.

Along with table image, your actions have to be believable in order for your bluff to make sense. If you limping into a pot and then just called a re-raise, it will be hard to represent Aces or Kings, but maybe easier to represent a set or a funky straight. When you bluff, take into account how you would have played the hand you are trying to represent before getting too carried away. Make your preflop, flop and post-flop actions tell a story that makes sense to your opponents.

If all else fails and they call your bluff, try to have outs. A semi-bluff is when you have a draw or at least a pair and backdoor outs; if you have nothing at all, it’s going to be very hard to beat someone who has called your bet. Remember, betting can always win the hand if they fold, but if you get called you’re going to need to show down something. If you’re on a pure bluff you’re going to need your opponent to fold, so you’d better be right!

The European Poker Tour released the schedule and information for its Monte Carlo event, and I really wish I could attend.

The seven day extravaganza will offer fourteen different events in the Monte Carlo Bay Resort and Hotel.

Last year’s Main Event attracted over 840 players, with 22-year-old Canadian Glen Chorny clinching the title and taking home over $3.15 million. This year, the $12,633 (EUR10,000) buy-in No Limit Hold’em Championship (NLHE) is set to surpass all records previously set at a European poker online tournament. With more than 1,000 players expected to attend, there is an estimated $12 million total prize pool. It was also noted that there will be sit n’ go tournaments as well going on all throughout the weeklong event.

Clearly, just because of the fact this thing is set in Monte Carlo makes it an event I would love to play in. there is something very appealing to playing poker in a lavish surrounding in a beautiful setting. I would feel like I was in a James Bond movie, and I would definitely be sporting a tux.

The online poker itself should be good, as the tournament is widely regarded and many of the best players from Europe and around the world play in it. so, for anyone reading this who is planning on attending: I am envious!
