The Market for Gaming Laptop Computers Is Becoming Crowded

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Just a time ago it looked like powerful notebooks were only being produced by a handful of select brands and were built to spec, not produced in big numbers. They were small volume sellers and massive profit making notebooks. They were the kind of notebook computers desired by everyone but the expense was just too high. Had you been a power hungry user they were basically the best laptop computers you could obtain. As much as I wanted one I was not able to afford to buy laptop computers like them. I think things are already shifting though and will continue to because the global manufacturers are all coming into the sector.

These laptop computers have a particular price point and these manufacturers know they don’t have to be price competitive in this sector. At the moment the profit margins on most notebook computers are so slim that this constitutes as an excellent opportunity to regain the gross profits. This was actually the only sector left where prospects would buy laptop computers from littler manufacturers. I don’t know what this will do to littler resellers but it will have a detrimental effect on them. I express this because now the technology which was once premium and overpriced is now becoming standard. Purchasers will also gather a lot more peace of mind when paying a larger amount of money.

I reckon its a joke that because it comes with an established brand name they are seamlessly though of as the best laptop computers. This surely should give some encouragement to the smaller system builders. I can see the option of being able to customize the laptop to be an important buying factor. Typically this kind of consumer is well versed in the technology and can effortlessly evaluate configurations. For these types of purchasers, the performance of a system sometimes mean more than the appearance of it. Surely from the gaming communities view, its a positive trend. As this forces down the prices even more, premium technology will become even more attainable to the masses. I predict that with a large dose of uncertainty though. The best laptop computers are normally going to be expensive if I’m honest. I reckon we will have to watch whether this overcrowding produces any significant benefits for consumers.

I stumbled upon this site that is selling gaming laptops at rock bottom prices. They appear to be giving a couple of cracking offers. Visit http://www.rizeon.com

Web Directories For SEO

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

If you are looking for ways to promote your website, than web directories should definitely be considered a big part of your promotional plan. Web directories provide web visitors with a one- stop destination on the web to find the information they are looking for. Further, in using web directories, you can increase the visibility of your website and derive myriad benefits offered by web directories.

Let’s take a look at the benefits that webmasters derive from web directories:

1. Some webmasters might wonder why they should bother to submit to web directories when 80% of all website traffic comes from search engines. The answer is simple when you consider the following: what about the other 20%? When you are attempting to maximize the traffic that comes to your website, every little bit of promotion helps and web directories can help you gain a big chuck of that 20% of web traffic you have been missing out on.

2. Did you know that a key factor in the ranking algorithm of search engines is link popularity? By using web directories you will be creating more links that point directly to your site and the higher your ranking becomes in various search engines across the Internet. Further, everyone knows that a higher search engine ranking is equivalent to easier accessibility and easier accessibility equals more traffic for your website.

3. The first way to increase your link popularity is to include keywords in your hyperlinks. When you submit to web directories, the links you submit should not only lead to your site, but also should possess themed keywords within the links. The themed keywords will not only make your site easier to find, it will also increase the rating of your links in various search engines–again getting more, free web traffic for you.

4. Links that are created within web directories are votes for a site and they use your keywords within your hyperlinks to associate your link with certain key phrases. As such, the keywords you select are extremely important because they determine how often your links will be pulled up whenever a key phrase is associated with your created links. Therefore, It is a good idea to research the most popular keywords associated with your website theme before submitting your website to various web directories: the most popular keywords can make all of the difference in the world.

5. If you are submitting to various web directories, there are a few things that you need to consider. First, for a directory to be valuable, the pages you submit your listings to must, at minimum, be listed in various search engines. For instance, if you submit your links to a web directory that doesn’t appear in any search engines, chances are web visitors will not only have difficulty finding your website, but they will also have extreme difficulty finding the web directory you have listed your site in. In such cases, the listing in the web directory is a fruitless endeavor. Conversely, if you list your web site in several popular web directories and you utilize keywords in your hyperlink and short website description, you greatly increase the visibility and accessibility of your website.

6. The second consideration you must keep in mind when submitting to web directories is that when you are submitting your hyperlinks, you will derive the most benefit from submitting to directory pages that have a comparable theme to your website. For instance, if you have a website that is based on credit cards you will find that you get more web traffic from a web directory page that focuses on credit cards. Thus, when searching for web directories, look for web directories with topics that parallel the central focus of your website.

7. Here’s a quick tip for you that can help you derive the most benefit from listing your hyperlink in web directories: watch out for Google Adwords as these are a good indicator of how Google at least categorizes the page. In other words, if you mirror your hyperlinks and descriptions to appear much like those seen in Google ads, you will more than likely increase your search engine ranking as well as your listing in various web directories.

8. In order to be successfully listed in any web directory, you will need to conform to the terms and conditions of the directory. Typically, web directories list a series of specific listing regulations that you must adhere to and it would pay for you to adhere to them. In addition, to improve the chances of your listing being accepted you should try to avoid promotional language and you should choose a category that is as close to your website theme as possible.

9. Webmasters have much to look forward to in terms of web directory posting. In fact, the next generations of web directories are now appearing that allows business card type pages. Not only do webmasters get the opportunity to post a short description of there website, but now they are afforded the opportunity to display their logo and contact information as well. Such offerings prove to be particularly appealing because eye catching logos and easy contact information will make a Webmaster’s website that much more appealing.

10. In the end, web directories are a valuable part of your web promotional program and should not be overlooked in terms of their value. Along with the use of search engines, and article databases, a Webmaster will be pleasantly surprised at the free advertising available on the Internet. Finally, the increase in web traffic that webmasters will reap is truly astonishing indeed.

Online Article Directory Sites Provide Blog Content

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

Many online free article submission directory sites provide RSS feed for instant content for a subscriptions fee and this works very good for the author who wishes to write articles and Ezine Editors and webmasters who need industry specific content. The viewers of the website get free information and everyone wins.

Well what if an online free article submission directory site had another audience, specifically for Bloggers to post? Instant content. All the Blogger would have to do is find an author who they agreed with on various categorized subjects, topics and issues, then pick and choose which content to take and post on their Blogs?

How would that sound? Well some think the idea sounds good. The online free article submission directory site would have a star burst on their home page at the top which says; “For the Blog!” This would take the Blogger Content Seeker to a Category page, where there would be all sorts of controversial issues, politics, insights and observations of nearly every possible human endeavor. The “For the Blog” site would be a totally separate site. “No Rules, just right.” There would be no rules to article size, titles optional Bloggers could do slight modification as long as the meaning was not changed and everyone is well served. Only stipulation would be to give credit to the author with one line of text and one link.

You see Bloggers who need content such as politics, opinion, new concepts, humor or whatever could go and the “For the Blog” site, which would be a separate site and in html? Catering specifically to a new group the Bloggers, would drive more traffic and create more content and Bloggers would come for snippets just like the Ezine Editors and Content Article Seekers do but, some of the fooks would be cross overs and have both Blogs and Ezines or Ezine, Blogs and Websites.

Some of the articles that were too short or was material unsuited for an Ezine, might well for a Blog. The author gets more inflow and online free article submission directory site get more links to their sites from every Blog in the world. This marries the two very separate and independent type of content seekers and would be a hybrid of sorts which could be used by all. Many online free article submission directory sites might choose such scenarios.

Both ideas or a combination, which someone will figure out, if they think on it, tinker with it and then “go for it” could win the game in online article content. Why not simply take over the whole Internet? In the future controlling information in a fair and equitable way serving the most amount of people will indeed hold the most promise for the online free article submission directory site entrepreneur. Think on it.

How to Start Trading the Forex Market; Part I

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

What is FOREX or FOREX MARKET?

The Foreign Exchange market (also referred to as the Forex or FX market) is the largest financial market in the world, with over $1.5 trillion changing hands every day.

That is larger than all US equity and Treasury markets combined!Unlike other financial markets that operate at a centralized location (i.e. stock exchange), the worldwide Forex market has no central location.

It is a global electronic network of banks, financial institutions and individual traders, all involved in the buying and selling of national currencies. Another major feature of the Forex market is that it operates 24 hours a day, corresponding to the opening and closing of financial centers in countries all across the world, starting each day in Sydney, then Tokyo, London and New York.

At any time, in any location, there are buyers and sellers, making the Forex market the most liquid market in the world.Traditionally, access to the Forex market has been made available only to banks and other large financial institutions. With advances in technology over the years, however, the Forex market is now available to everybody, from banks to money managers to individual traders trading retail accounts.

The time to get involved in this exciting, global market has never been better than now. Open an account and become an active player in the largest market on the planet.

The Forex Market is very different than trading currencies on the futures market, and a lot easier, than trading stocks or commodities.

Whether you are aware of it or not, you already play a role in the Forex market.

The simple fact that you have money in your pocket makes you an investor in currency, particularly in the US Dollar. By holding US Dollars, you have elected not to hold the currencies of other nations.

Your purchases of stocks, bonds or other investments, along with money deposited in your bank account, represent investments that rely heavily on the integrity of the value of their denominated currency the US Dollar.

Due to the changing value of the US Dollar and the resulting fluctuations in exchange rates, your investments may change in value, affecting your overall financial status.

With this in mind, it should be no surprise that many investors have taken advantage of the fluctuation in Exchange Rates, using the volatility of the Foreign Exchange market as a way to increase their capital.

Example: suppose you had $1000 and bought Euros when the exchange rate was 1.50 Euros to the dollar. You would then have 1500 Euros.

If the value of Euros against the US dollar increased then you would sell (exchange) your Euros for dollars and have more dollars than you started with.

Example:You might see the following:EUR/USD last trade 1.5000 meansOne Euro is worth $1.50 US dollars.

The first currency (in this example, the EURO) is referred to as the base currency and the second (/USD) as the counter or quote currency.

The FOREX plays a vital role in the world economy and there will always be a tremendous need for the exchange of currencies.

International trade increases as technology and communication increases. As long as there is international trade, there will be a FOREX market. The FX market has to exist so a country like Germany can sell products in the United States and be able to receive Euros in exchange for US Dollar.

RISK WARNING:
Risks of currency trading: Margined currency trading is an extremely risky form of investment and is only suitable for individuals and institutions capable of handling the potential losses it entails. An account with an broker allows you to trade foreign currencies on a highly leveraged basis (up to about 400 times your account equity). The funds in an account that is trading at maximum leverage may be completely lost if the position(s) held in the account experiences even a one percent swing in value, given the possibility of losing one’s entire investment. Speculation in the foreign exchange market should only be conducted with risk capital funds that, if lost, will not significantly affect the investors financial well-being.

Best Perennial Plants for Summer Color

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

Summer is here and it’s time to plant and enjoy the beautiful flowers that blossom during the heat of the season. A perennial plant is one that remains in the ground for two or more years and ultimately gives a garden its character. Most perennials spread readily, filling out gardens and providing a show of color year after year.

Perennial plants come in many colors. The colors selected will greatly affect the overall look of your garden. For example, orange and red are stimulating colors that will attract attention. Yellows are warm and refreshing. Blues are cool with the most appeal in the warm summer months. White is a neutral and peaceful color that helps other colors blend together. Normally, it is best not to have more than two or three dominating colors at one time.

Many perennials have a distinct bloom period, which lasts anywhere from one week to a month or two. To some gardeners, this may seem like a drawback, since each plant does not flower all summer. However, if planned properly, a perennial garden can have blooming flowers all summer long. Most perennial gardens change with the seasons. For example, you can enjoy pretty Columbines in the spring, vibrant Peonies in the early summer, and wonderful Black-eyed Susans in the late summer – all in the same garden. One of the finest joys of planting a perennial garden is watching the plants and blooms change with the different seasons.

While there are hundreds of perennial plants available, here are some that flower the best in the warm summer months (June-August).

• Bearded or German Iris (various colors)

• Bellflower (white, blue)

• Butterfly Weed (orange)

• Cardinal Flower (red)

• Coral-bells (pink, red, white)

• Coreopsis (yellow)

• Corydalis (yellow)

• Cupid’s Dart (Blue)

• English Daisy (pink, white)

• European Columbine (various colors)

• Fernleaf Yarrow (yellow)

• Foxglove (various colors)

• Foxtail Lily (pink, yellow, white)

• Harebell (blue, violet, white)

• Hollyhock (various colors)

• Italian Aster (purple)

• Oriental Poppy (red, orange, pink)

• Peony (red, pink, white, yellow)

• Phlox (white, pink, red, lavender)

• Purple Coneflower (purple)

• Red Valerian (red)

• Rose Mallow (white, pink, rose)

• Sea Holly (gray)

• Shasta Daisy (white)

• Spiderwort (purple)

• Sweet William (various colors)

• Yellow Foxglove (yellow)

Here are five steps to planting a successful perennial garden:

1. Choose a site that gets partial to full sun. Although there are some perennials that will grow in full shade, you will have a much larger selection of plants to choose from if your garden receives partial sun.

2. Choose the best plants for your garden. Check the USDA Zone rating and pick the plants that adapted to growing in your region.

3. Prepare the soil. It is important to prepare the soil since the perennial plants will be occupying the same space for a couple of years or more. Most perennials enjoy a moderately rich, loose soil with plenty of organic matter.

4. Follow planting instructions that come with the plant.

5. Be diligent about watering the new plants. Typically, a deep watering once a week is better than a daily sprinkle.

To get your perennial garden started, follow the above steps and make a trip to your local nursery. Take your time and familiarize yourself with as many of choices as possible before selecting plants. Be sure to find out what USDA Zone you live in and select the perennial plants that are best suited to your region and your garden.

Happy planting!

Why You Fail in the Internet Home Business ?

Sunday, August 17th, 2008

A lot of people have tried the Internet home businesses that are widely spread in the internet industries nowadays. In contrary, often we heard people that are making hundreds or even thousands of dollars each month from internet home business. Well, you might say that they are all liars in the industry, but in fact, they really do make those money! Wonders why and how they can do it, while you don’t? You just keep watching from your computer or news, how this guy and that guy making millions of dollars from their computer! It’s time for you to move on! When other people know how to do it, believe in yourself that you can do it as well!

Now, you asked yourself what you did wrong in the internet home business. You have worked hard for it, and you spent hours in front of your computer trying to make your business success. It’s getting you fell frustrated about it. Everything seems so wrong, and then you started felt that’s all internet home business are nothing more than scams. You screamed out loud but nobody seems to care.

Here are some tips that you might want to consider deeply before you pulled all your hairs out.

Make sure the company that you are working with is reliable and admitted by any credible institution such as BBB (Better Business Bureau) and US Chamber of Commerce. You don’t want to end up working with some junk companies that are in business for less than 5 years then disappear. It happens a lot in cyber space. People set up a fictive company with a killing web site, and then after they got your money, they just run away and disappear. So, my best advice for you is do an extensive research for the company before you decided to join their programs or network marketing

Another problem occurred when you have chosen the right and perfect company to work with. You asked yourself what to do and where to start. Then you started by looking for several resources how to start your business smoothly. You bought some best seller book, went to marketing website that told you how to run the business, etc. Yet you still feel like don’t know where to start. You wanted to scream once again because you have done all the internet books are saying but seems like you are lost in cyber space.

Here, you started to realize that you need some real people to support you, not an auto-responder, not a machine! That’s why you need to find out how is the support’s system in the network marketing you are about to join. You have to find where the supports are coming from the experts from the industry and people are eager to help each other. You absolutely need a team that supports you, not only when you started the business, but as long as you stayed in the business!

When you found the team, go deeper! Try to find a solid team with a solid support. A team that can walk with you when you start doing the business, help you to convince your prospect, and pull your hand when your spirit is down. It seems not that important when you first start with a home business, because your eyes are blocked by how wonderful the program pays you, how fast you can be rich, etc. Believe me, the “Team” is important to help you success.

Find company that not only pays you well, but give you some training how to start the business! Other than a perfect company and good team support, you will need a step by step training that tells you how to do the business in nutshells. I know that you can get “How to” books or e-books anywhere in internet that shows you how to run an e-commerce, but how about training that are given by people that done the actual business with the company successfully? You surely need that! So, you can learn from people that are already expert with the products that the company sells!

After all the support you got, you still fail in the business! Most people start the internet home business with the wrong mindset! That’s right, the mindset! They thought that after join the business, they’ll get rich instantly. Boom! In just couple days, weeks, or months! No! The internet only helps you to work more efficiently and effectively, the rest of it depends on you! You need to work and do the real job, only this time you don’t need to drive. You can do it from the comfort of your home.

Ok, ok, now what? You might think that you have done everything, but you still failed in this business. The next one is Consistency and Persistency. Yup, you need that. If you are sure you did all the above points, you need to be consistence and persistence in doing this business. This actually is much related with one’s mindset when he/she started the business. If you think you’ll get rich soon, you won’t stay long after you found out that you haven’t earned a penny. But if you know that you have to work for the business and never stop to learn the internet marketing, with the right programs and companies, you will get a fortune from the cyber space like those young and rich internet youngsters.

So, good luck! And see you at the top!

Computer Slow? Optimize It With The Right Tools

Friday, August 15th, 2008

Why does it seem like every time you get a new computer it operates at lightning fast speeds for only a few months before becoming slow and laborious over its tasks? Is this just something that we have to live with or can we do something to keep our computers running at optimum speeds?

The truth is that computers do not get slower as they age, a slow computer is a sign that something is literally holding your PC back and affecting its performance. And the good news is that you can do something about it.

There are many things that can affect your computer’s performance, from low memory to a fragmented hard drive and everything in between. The things that can affect your computer’s performance are usually of your own doing. You see, each time we download a program or delete a program, we affect the way our computer operates. This change in operation can leave holes in our PCs operating procedures or may even leave behind programs that can affect our computer’s performance.

Here are just a few things that could be making your computer slow:

Running Background Programs – These programs are software applications that are running behind the scenes even when they are not in use. You may not even know that they are running, but they can zap precious memory and slow down your other tasks considerably. To see if you have programs running in the background, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete at the same time. The box that pops up will show you all applications that are running.

Full Hard Drive – If your hard drive is too full of data, it will not have enough space to perform chores. Your hard drive should have at lease 2MB to 3MB in free space.

Fragmented Hard Drive – When you download and delete programs, you create holes in your hard drive. These holes mean that your PC has to search for the files it needs over greater distance and not necessarily in the order that it needs them.

Left Over Parts – When you install and uninstall Windows programs, they leave behind parts or applications that can slow down your computer. You may even unknowingly delete a file needed for other software applications. (Note: Spyware and viruses can also slow down your PC’s performance, but for the purpose of this article we are assuming that the problem lies in application errors.)

Make Your PC Run Like New

While it’s not rocket science, making your computer lightning fast once again will take a little work from you. Sometimes, this is as easy as running your Windows System Tools program. You can find these programs by clicking “start,” “all programs,” “accessories,” and “system tools.” Here you will find several system optimizers to help you free up your disk space, defragment your PC, and detect and repair disk errors.

In addition to tools already installed on your PC, you can opt to download additional programs to optimize your computer’s performance. These optimizers can be purchased as a set with other software programs that can help you get the best out of your computer. Here are just a few of the extra optimization programs that you may want for your PC:

Memory Optimizer – When you are using your computer, it takes several programs and application to handle everything that you are doing. Each of these programs uses memory. When memory is short, computer response time is slow. Memory Optimizer helps to make the allotment of memory to each program more efficient. This can help you eliminate slow PC execution time, Windows hang up or crashing, loss of data and unwanted shutdowns.

Registry Deffrager and Optimizer – As mentioned before, a registry with holes results in slow response times as your PC searches for the data it needs. This program improves the system response time and saves memory by creating a smaller registry.

Windows Optimizer – We all use our computers differently. Some use their computer as a media and entertainment centerpiece while others use their PC for data storage and business purposes. Windows Optimizer allows you to tweak program settings so that they will perform in line with your needs.

Granted, a slow computer is a nuisance and it may leave you wanting to go out and purchase a new model. But before you give up on your current model, make sure that you have optimized it first. You may be surprised by how much life is still in your PC.

A Valentine Heart Should Be More Than Just A Box Of Chocolate

Monday, August 11th, 2008

Well, it is that time again when hearts are all a flutter with sending and getting Valentines Day gifts. Do you know that Richard Cadbury invented the first Valentines Day candy box in the late 1800s? Or that the Chocolate Manufacturers Association of America reports that 36 million boxes of chocolate are sold for Valentines Day? Cha-ching for candy companies.

I walked several stores to see what offerings were available this year in the chocolate category. Mostly the typical Valentines Day heart shaped red/pink candy boxes caught my eye. Surprisingly, the Valentine heart box has changed very little over the years. It has a few ruffles, banners or flowers but essentially it is the same old box. What a waste to not expand the marketing effort and maximize the package to increase sales.

Now I have eaten my share of chocolate over the years, but lately I have been watching the healthy aspects of what I eat. So why arent these candy manufactures touting the fact that chocolate is good for me. According to a recent study chocolate contains compounds called flavonoids that can help maintain a healthy heart and good circulation and reduce blood clotting which can cause heart attacks and stroke. More and more, we are finding evidence that consumption of chocolate that is rich in flavonoids can have positive cardiovascular effects, says Carl Keen, a nutritionist at the University of California, Davis.

Wow! How about that for a great reason to eat more chocolate? No more guilt trips when I eye the candy isle. But I just dont get the concept that marketers dont understand that chocolate equals a good thing. Duh, shouldnt that be emblazoned on every box of chocolate and Valentine box? Supposedly, it is only the dark chocolate but I will make that sacrifice.

How hard is it for marketers to make that leap? They have the opportunity to sell more chocolate by advertising that it is good for you. And you wives and girlfriends, men say they would rather give a box of chocolate than flowers. How wonderful, an equal opportunity Valentines Day gift of chocolate.

So the next time an occasion comes your way, think outside the box. Literally, think about the outside of the box. The outside of the box can do much more marketing and about delivering ways to sell a product uniquely and creatively.

Hiring A Babysitter

Monday, August 11th, 2008

Hiring a babysitter can be one of the most important choices you have to make for your children! There are a couple of steps that should be followed before hiring a babysitter. You first and most importantly never hire a babysitter because they seem nice! Some of the nicest people turn out to be Serial Killers, or abusers of some kind, so don’t ever give a potential Babysitter the benefit of the doubt. Child molesters come in every age, size, and gender.

You should always ask for references. Check out all the references. Make sure to follow through and call to see if the references are credible and accurate. Sometimes the references are just fake from friends and family members. You as a parent want references from previous babysitting jobs.

The next step is an interview, before actually hiring anyone for job. Speck to the potential babysitter, have a nice conversation. Include your child; see how your child feels with the new babysitter. Do you and your child feel comfortable with this person? Do they seem nice and friendly and genuinely caring? And finally ask the kids how they feel about the babysitter. Don’t ever force a babysitter on your child. Your child should be happy with the choice of person. Which will only facilitate the best care possible.

Once you hire someone, make sure to go over the rules. Such as no smoking in front of the child or home if you desire. Make sure to tell them to limit phone use, so you’re your child is look after better. The child or children must be within view at all times. Make sure to go over the bed time, T.V. time and snakes allowed. Pretty much make sure to lay the rules down.

If you use a babysitter long term, make sure to see signs of abuse to be on the safe side. Has your child changed behavior recently? Does your child show signs of distress when you talk about having this babysitter come back? Has your child’s eating habits changed? Any signs of bruises or cuts that you cant explain? If so confront the babysitter right away! And if necessary call the local Law Enforcement Department. Help keep your children safe and others as well. Will Israel Strike Iran’s Nuclear Sites?

Friday, August 8th, 2008

In 1981 Israelis bombed a French-built nuclear plant near Iraq’s capital, Baghdad. Prime Minister Menachem Begin ordered the strike because Israel believed it was designed to make nuclear weapons to destroy Israel. U.S. made F-15 bombers and F-16 fighters destroyed the Osirak reactor 18 miles south of Baghdad.

You can read more details of the Israeli attack on Iraq at: http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/june/7/newsid_3014000/3014623.stm. Here is part of the official statement of the Israeli Government: “The atomic bombs which that reactor was capable of producing whether from enriched uranium or from plutonium, would be of the Hiroshima size. Thus a mortal danger to the people of Israel progressively arose.”

We read of secret plans made by the Israelis to attack Iran at http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2089-1522978,00.html. I didn’t know they had plans until I started to write this article. I was just guessing. But evidently Israel has plans and the United States has no plans to stop them.

The contingency is that International efforts must fail before any such attack takes place. From past history, I doubt that Israel will listen to any such rhetoric. I think they will attack while the Americans in Iraq form a buffer between Israel and Iran. That is my theory and I’m sticking to it.

In light of Iran’s president’s, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, remarks that Israel should be wiped off the map and the major support that he received by his followers on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan when he said his remarks were “just” and that the criticism by world leaders did not “have any validity,” little doubt is left in my mind that Iran will continue its nuclear weapons programs and that Israel will not allow that to happen. See http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/4384264.stm.

If Israel does attack, what will happen? Well,I don’t think that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will sit on his thumbs. He might invade Iraq, risking his army just to cause as much misery to Americans as he possibly can. He might think like Dick Cheney that the Iraqis will welcome his troops and a great Jihad battle will raise his stakes in the Moslem world.

Cheney was dead wrong but Mahmoud Ahmadinejad could be lucky. A past war between Moslems may not be thought to be as negative as a past war between our crusading armies and Moslems.

Some experts should chime in here. What do I know for sure?

But I did know that Dick Cheney was whistling Dixie when he though the Americans would be greeted by loving arms. Did he really think that Bush War I was a great success to the Iraqis? We bombed the hell out of their cities, destroyed their infrastructure, left them without food and medicine, and left a buddle of widows, orphans, invalids, and angry family members of the dead. It’s reported that many died in the aftermath of the war due to the lack of the necessities of life.

Let’s hope the Iraqis will not welcome Mahmoud Ahmadinejad either.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad may not start a major offensive in Iraq but he would surely increase his support to the insurgents there.

Alternatively, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad could attack Afghanistan using increased infiltrating guerrilla tactics which would disrupt our operations.

If and when the Israelis attack Iran, a whole new scenario will develop worldwide. 9/11 might seem like a nice fall day.

It’s interesting to me that Bush War II is about attacking a country that does not and did not have nuclear weapons rather than attacking North Korea which does and did have nuclear weapons.

I fought in the Korean War. We learned that North Korea has a big brother and he knows how to fight. Are we not attacking North Korea’s nuclear sites because of China’s nuclear weapons?

I think so.

But again, what do I know?
